FAMILY SPEED RACES
Ages 12+ & 52" tall
An exciting race at a reduced speed for our younger and/or inexperienced guests.
Up to four Duo Karts are available per race, each can accommodate an adult driver & FREE child passenger (must be at least 4 years old and 36" tall and be properly fitted in a karting helmet). Up to 8 drivers per race.
Ages 10 & 11 (& 52" tall) can race if they can control the kart in a safe manner and are in a Private Race with at least 4 family members or friends.
FULL SPEED RACES
Ages 14+ & 58" tall or above
A thrilling race at a higher speed. Drivers must be able to complete two full laps at Family Speed (without hitting the barriers or crashing) before the race is upgraded to FULL SPEED.
Up to four Duo Karts are available per race, each can accommodate an adult driver & FREE child passenger (must be at least 4 years old and 36" tall and be properly fitted in a karting helmet).
TOP SPEED RACES (only available Wednesday evenings 5 - 9 pm)
Ages 19+ & 58" tall or above
A thrilling race at our highest permitted speed for experienced drivers. Drivers must complete two full laps at Full Speed (without hitting the barriers or crashing) before the race is upgraded to TOP SPEED. Maximum 4 drivers per race.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I reserve a race time?
No. We currently operate on a first-come, first served basis.
Can a Family Speed driver race against a Full Speed or Top Speed driver?
No. Family Speed, Full Speed and Top Speed races are separate.
How do you know who won?
Winners are based on who had the fastest single lap. Lap times will be posted after each race.
Are there any height or weight limitations?
The maximum driver height is 80 inches (6'8"). We may not be able to accommodate guests of 300 lbs or more. Our pit crew will make the final determination on a driver's ability to safely participate.
How old do you have to be in order to race?
Family racers must be 12+ and minimum 54" tall.
Full Speed racers must be 14+ and minimum 58" tall.
Top Speed racers must be 19+ and minimum 58" tall.
Duo Kart drivers must be 19+
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes, all participants (including passengers) must complete a waiver form. Under 19 requires an adult to sign. Racing is an inherently dangerous activity and all customers are required to read and sign a waiver that acknowledges our release from liability. Failure to sign the waiver will disqualify you from participating in any racing activities.
Do you host birthday parties or private racing events?
Birthday parties are available at Central City Fun Park (next door). Our go kart track does not offer party spaces.
Can you explain how the Duo Karts work?
Our Duo Karts consist of a kart with two seats, one for an Adult (19+) driver and one for a child (12 or under) and minimum of 36" tall who must also be properly fitted with a karting helmet. Due to weight and size restrictions, we do not permit two adults to ride together in a Duo Kart.
How long are the races?
Races are approximately 5-6 minutes long but add extra time for the safety briefing and helmet fitting.
Can I bring my own helmet?
Yes, you can bring your own karting helmet, provided it has a valid DOT sticker on it.
